1. Spooktacular Halloween Event

The Pigeon Forge Community Center hosts a free safe and non-scary event on Thursday, October 26, 2017, which has become a popular tradition every Thursday before Halloween. Vendors from local Pigeon Forge businesses are on-hand to offer candy for the kids in a safe trick or treat environment. Some of the vendors will also feature interactive elements and displays for the whole family to enjoy. Other activities at the Spooktacular Halloween Event at the Pigeon Forge Community Center include entertainment and a haunted house!

2. Halloween Carnival at The Island

Bring your kids out to the Halloween Carnival at the Island for an evening full of circus sideshow entertainment, dancing and more! This free event at the Island in Pigeon Forge will feature stilt walkers, high-flying acrobats and other dazzling circus acts. Enjoy free photos with your family at the Selfie Studio, trick or treat around the Island and participate in a fun costume contest! The event takes place on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 5 PM to 9 PM, and kids who arrive early in costume can take advantage of 1/2 price unlimited ride passes all day long. The evening concludes with a dance party hosted by the Carnival ringmasters and includes fun, games and prizes!

3. Trick or Treat Kickoff Karnival

Celebrate the start of Halloween in Gatlinburg with the Trick or Treat Kickoff Karnival at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies! This exciting family friendly event takes place on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Enjoy a pumpkin contest, costumed characters, food vendors and of course lots of candy during this popular annual trick or treat kickoff! The Gatlinburg Police Department will be on hand to discuss trick or treat safety, and the Gatlinburg Fire Department will be at the event to talk about fire safety.
